Bio & Philosophy
I worked at Pasadena City College Child Development center for 5 years. My previous mentors and experiences have shaped me into the educator I am today. Then I grew more passionate about messy and nature play. I’ve traveled to Scotland and visited several forest and outdoor nurseries. I strongly believe in messy, meaningful, and nature-based play.
“Children still need a childhood with dirt, mud, puddles, trees, sticks, and tadpoles”
- Brook Hampton
Fun & Personal Touches
- Favorite books: Max & Ruby Bunny Cakes by Rosemary Wells
- My favorite classroom activity: simply making together with everyone. Be it art, building, or pretending to work
- Fun fact: I’m not afraid to try “weird” foods.
